5 Use Cases for AI Agents and Agentic Workflows
Ever find yourself bogged down by repetitive tasks that drain your energy and time? I sure have.
As a writer and entrepreneur, juggling multiple projects often left me buried under mundane chores. That was until I discovered the game-changing power of AI agents.
Imagine having a personal assistant who never tires, handling your routine tasks with precision.
That’s what AI agents bring to the table. They automate the tedious parts of our work, freeing us to focus on what truly matters.
Before getting into best use cases for AI agents and Agentic Workflows, let me share brief definition about each of them:
AI Agents: They are software systems powered by AI (think of Large Language Models like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.), Coding, Data, Connectivity to other systems (mostly through APIs) and User Interfaces to reason about a complex problem or goal, plan the activities needed to achieve the goal, and execute the acitivities.
According to Brandon Dixon, AI Agents can be single-agent, an agent defined to accomplish a taks or multi-agent, multiple agents working and coordinating to achieve complex goals in dynamic environments.
While the Agentic Workflow refers to the system using agents to achieve an outcome.
